Get the FACTS, Internet outages occur in parts of the internet both planned and unplanned. This is where the trouble starts. You get to site "A" but cannot get to site "B"

			BE INFORMED
		We are an ISP and when parts of the internet are, for whatever reason not accessible our Help Desk phones start ringing. We used to be helpless just like our callers. After much phone time and research it occurred to us that 90% of the issues revolved around carrier maintenance that sometimes can't wait until midnight.

We started compiling our carrier resources and came to the realization that by providing this info in advance via e-mail our calls dropped dramatically.

We are making this email available to you, the fellow ISP, Webmaster, Network Administrator and others who want to BE INFORMED.

Knowing Sprint, MCI or AT&T etc.. equipment is being rebooted before hand is invaluable knowledge, especially if you are online and depend on the net for communication or cash flow..
